Happy Birth Day to Me!

The party was awesome. Soft pretzels with cheese whiz, a big platter of veggies with dip, cupcakes and a big platter of fruit...for chocolate fondue fountain!

The chocolate fountain a huge hit. Marked down to $24, the sign said to take an additional 75% off. I was not at the hardware store to buy a chocolate fountain. I imagined what Bill would say. I imagined cleaning it. I imagined Mary's face when the melted chocolate poured over the sides.

"Is this off the lowest price?" I asked.

"Yes," the sales person said.

So I got motor oil, a spark plug for the mower and a $6 chocolate fountain. It was easy and fun and not too bad to clean. I actually expected it to be worse.

We danced, made pet rocks, made purses out of jeans pockets, played hide and seek and drew with chalk on the sidewalk.

"Dude, your party is awesome," said a friend.

It was said to my daughter, but I'll take the credit for that, thanks.

Lea-This is soooo cool! Now you will be able to cater Proms, Weddings, conventions, Quienceneras, and Bar Mitzvas. You'll have to figure out billing for each group and how to manage the double dippers. We met a school teacher who was making more money on the side with her chocolate fountain this way!
